Stop Insurance companies! THEY manage our care! Not our Doctors!

Stop the Unpatriotic Attack on The American Plan!

Insurance companies are doing their worst, spreading lies in an attempt to maintain their profits and keep Americans from getting the care they so desperately need. You, our citizens, must be the heroes. Stand up, and speak up, for an American Plan!

Today we were forwarded an email from Alliance with an insanely lopsided and false survey.  Here’s the text then Phone bank for Change! Phone bank for America in Manhattan Beach:

When Congress returns from recess on September 8, 2009, the health care reform debate will intensify. Health care legislation is set to be proposed in both the U.S. House and Senate; before critical votes take place, members of Congress want your opinion.

Legislators on both sides of the aisle have asked the Alliance for Affordable Services to find out how association members feel about key issues such as:

Proposed employer mandates on coverage
A government-run “public plan” option
Proposed tax increases on small businesses and the self-employed
Limitations placed on choice in health care providers by the creation of new federal regulations and commissions overseeing the health care industry.
This is a defining moment for the future direction of our country. It is vital that you share your opinions so we can deliver your feedback directly to members of Congress before they vote on these measures. Quality, choice, and affordability will be impacted by the direction Congress takes. Please let your voice be heard.
