Please join Generation Obama and Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti for “Arts at the Park After Dark,” an event supporting Summer Night Lights.
Summer Night Lights is a gang reduction/youth development program that extends the summer evening hours at designated City of Los Angeles recreation centers and provides urban arts and recreational programming designed to attract the most at-risk youth. This summer, the program will expand to young people at 16 locations throughout Los Angeles.
“Arts at the Park After Dark” will feature a line-up of some of LA’s up-and-coming musical talent– including Chris Pierce, Warpaint, Audible Mainframe, KCRW DJ Jeremy Sole, and emcee Brian White– as well as the work of LA’s most talented visual artists which will be on display in the Barnsdall Municipal Gallery.
